ADG were commissioned by Plymouth City Council to design The Children’s Centre Phase 2 project, which is based at eleven existing schools and other premises. The aim of the project was to develop community use and the school environment through extensions and remodelling. All the projects contain a ‘generic’ children’s centre as well as individual school improvements, including new kitchens, a school hall, nursery provision, school receptions, staff and teaching accommodation. An interesting and challenging project for the team, and of the eleven schools, only two are yet to be completed with the others up and running and serving their communities. |
