Darren Jenner is promoted to Senior Architect
ADG would like to announce the exciting news that Darren has been promoted to his new role as Senior Architect. Darren joined ADG as a Part 2 Qualified Architectural Assistant and developed his experience with the practice to become a fully qualified architect. His new position reflects the 20 successful years of valued input and commitment that he has provided to the company.
Darren, born in Sussex, moved to Plymouth in 1994 to study architecture before working at small practices based in Dartmouth and Saltash, respectively, both specialising in residential projects.
During his time with ADG, Darren has developed a full range of experience and has successfully delivered projects across residential, healthcare, education, and conservation sectors for both public and private clients alike and is a key member of the housing team. This experience has included new build projects, work on historic buildings, as well as the re-use and refurbishment of existing buildings within both urban and rural settings.
Darren has joined Jon Inman and Dan Stewart, forming the senior architectural team at ADG and providing direct support to the Directors by overseeing projects, and managing resources.
Darren lives in Plymouth with his partner Felicity, who are both keen runners, competing in events locally and nationally, but also enjoy spending their spare time cycling, travelling, and exploring the local countryside. ADG staff are often reminded that Darren is also an ardent football fan and is a season ticket holder at Plymouth Argyle.
With Covid-19 restrictions starting to ease and the ADG office becoming a more vibrant and creative hub once again, Darren’s role as a Senior Architect will become even more integral to ADG’s future. As a practice, we look forward to where this will take his development and wish him every success in the role.
