A strong brand identity is integral to how your business or organisation is viewed in the market place. At ADG we understand what the client’s needs are before creating their new identity.
A strong identity can have great implications on how successful a business is, as first impressions certainly count and the branding is integral to how they are viewed in the market place.
When we work with a client on their new identity, we like to delve into the company’s ethos, the team that work there, the projects they work on and the clients’ they work with.
All of these factors need to be carefully considered when creating a new identity, as creating the wrong look or feel could have a negative impact on the business.
Once we’ve determined these factors, we’ll research the marketplace and look at their competitors to see what they’re doing, allowing us to create an identity completely bespoke and our client to stand out in the crowd.
Now, we can start designing…
At this stage the identities we design are in concept form with options for typography and colour. We then have consultation and critique sessions to work out improvements and how to move forward. This then narrows down the concepts until and final design is refined and presented to the client.
How do we use a brand…?
Once a new brand identity has been created and the client has signed it off, we then create a Brand Guideline or Design Code. This document outlines every possible scenario that the identity will be used for.
The guide goes into great depth outlining typefaces, colour variations, the size of the logo when applied to different elements, how it’s depicted on business cards, adverts, signage, websites and social media.
This document is then handed over to the client in a digital format for them to keep and send to any future suppliers or consultants, helping to keep their brand consistent across all marketing outlets.
