Planning permission was granted for this 24 storey development of high quality student apartments which incorporates street level commercial units. The development maximises the potential of a highly constrained city centre site adjacent to a dual carriageway and forming a landmark building between the railway station and the city centre.
The design was developed to a significant level of detail in order to address aspects of sustainability and cost. The site is still available for development due to the financial constraints imposed by the start of the recent recession. The construction value was approximately £35 million.
